Lord Jesus, our teacher, who kindled the light of truth in the hearts of all people, You have chosen us for the mission of teaching others, even as you taught & have given us this community of educators, the ministry of celebrating life & of consecrating the earth. Bless us & our families.Give us new hearts: open, understanding, commited to all that is true, good, lovable & honorable; make us docile to learn to serve even from those we seek to serve.Infuse in us the spirit of collaboration to enable us graciously to give even as we gratefully receive. Pour forth your spirit in us, that zeal to our personal commitment to You & to the ministry of teaching be rekindled in our hearts. Praise & thanks to You Oh Lord for calling us to be educators. Bless us forever. Amen
